Plus Membrane Chamber Filter Press
A membrane press is identical to a standard chamber filter press except that the chambers, which are the area between the plates, have membranes to squeeze out excess water from the slurry. Membrane filter presses are usually used to achieve the followings:
- Maximum dryness of the filter cakes with low residual moisture.
- The range of dry solid contents is 30% to 60%
- Maximised filtration volume.
- A reduction in filtration cycle time by 50%.
- A more uniform cake discharge.
